Giving

The Bible teaches that everything we have belongs to God and has been given to us through him.  Giving back recognises this and demonstrates our trust in his provision (1 Chron 29:14). Also, giving to God through the church enables enable us as a church family to be effective in our worship, ministry, and outreach.

How to give

To give regularly or as a one-off gift, please set up a Bank Standing Order, BACS, or Internet Banking payment to credit:

Gift Aid

If you currently pay tax, St Michael’s are able to claim an extra 20% on top of any financial giving at no extra cost to you. For example, a £100 gift would be topped up by the Government to £120.

Each year this adds thousands of pounds to the Church accounts and helps us to do so much more. If you are able to do this please use the contact form at the bottom of this page to contact Alex Davis, our Operations Manager, who will make sure to add Gift Aid to your gift.

Specific causes

If you want to give a gift to a specific cause, you can:

  1. Drop off a cheque or cash at the Church Centre in an envelope with the name of the group you want to give the money to, or;

  2. Send a bank transfer using the provided details above and include the appropriate reference.
